We enrolled Kavitha in LKG in 2017. She was very shy and would not speak to anyone outside the family. By the time she reached Class 3, she was anchoring the Annual Day programme in English. I visited Aurochild for an inter-school science event and was struck by the building itself. The Wienerberger brick construction, the Athangudi tile flooring, the high ceilings. It felt more like a heritage institution than a school. But beyond the aesthetics, the students who presented their science projects demonstrated genuine understanding, not rote memorization.
