What Our Families Say

Over 27 years, Aurochild has been a part of hundreds of families in Cuddalore and the surrounding region. These are some of the voices from parents, students, and educators who have experienced the school firsthand.

Parent Voices

From the Parents Who Know Us Best

Parents share what they have seen in their children's growth, behaviour, and confidence over the years at Aurochild.

We enrolled Kavitha in LKG in 2017. She was very shy and would not speak to anyone outside the family. By the time she reached Class 3, she was anchoring the Annual Day programme in English. That transformation did not happen overnight. The teachers worked on her confidence slowly, every single term. Today she is in Class 8 and reads novels on her own. We are from Thirupapuliyur and we have never once considered moving her to another school.

My son was struggling with Mathematics in his previous school. We shifted him to Aurochild in Class 5. Within one year, his marks improved from the 50s to consistently above 80. But what surprised us more was his behaviour change. He started organizing his own study schedule and stopped needing us to sit with him during homework. The discipline here is firm but not harsh, that is what made the difference.

We live near Pondicherry and many people asked us why we were sending our daughter to Cuddalore when there are so many schools closer to home. Honestly, it was the campus that convinced us first. Aurochild does not look like any other school in this area. But once Priya started, it was the attention from teachers that kept us. In her Class 10 boards, she scored 92% and her English marks were the highest in her batch. For a family that wanted stronger English exposure, that means everything to us.

Both our children study here. Our older son is in Class 7 and younger daughter in Class 2. What I notice is the consistency. The values they teach, the way they greet elders, the way they take care of their own belongings. These things are the same whether the child is in primary or middle school. My mother-in-law says the children have more discipline than most adults she knows. That is the best compliment I can give any school.

Student and Alumni Reflections

In Their Own Words

Students and alumni reflect on how their years at Aurochild shaped their habits, thinking, and direction after school.

I finished Class 12 from Aurochild in 2022 and I am now doing my B.Tech in Computer Science at SRM. When I look back, the biggest thing Aurochild gave me was the habit of reading. The library had over 3,000 books and our teachers genuinely encouraged us to read beyond the syllabus. In college, I notice that I can write and present better than most of my classmates, and I credit that to the English communication practice we had every day at school.

M. Vignesh Kumar

Alumnus, Class of 2022 | Currently at SRM University

I was part of the martial arts programme from Class 4 to Class 10. It taught me focus and self-control more than any classroom lecture could. When I was preparing for NEET, that discipline is what carried me through. I used to wake up at 4:30 AM and study for three hours before school. My parents always say Aurochild taught me how to work hard without being told.

K. Deepika

Alumna, Class of 2023 | Pursuing MBBS

The school felt like a second home because of the campus. Grace Garden with all its flowers, the cats roaming around, the birds in the trees. It was calm, not chaotic like some schools I visited for competitions. That peaceful atmosphere made it easier to concentrate. I was an average student in marks, but my teachers never made me feel less important. They focused on what I was good at and helped me improve the rest.

Educator Perspectives

What Educators Observe

Teachers and academic professionals who have visited or collaborated with Aurochild share their observations.

I have been associated with CBSE schools across Tamil Nadu for over 15 years. What distinguishes Aurochild is the student-teacher ratio. At 12:1, it allows teachers to actually know each child, not just their roll number. During my visit to the campus, I observed that students in the primary section could hold a structured conversation in English. That level of communication skill in a semi-rural setting is uncommon and speaks to consistent daily practice.

Dr. P. Ramachandran

Educational Consultant, CBSE Curriculum Design | Chennai

I visited Aurochild for an inter-school science event and was struck by the building itself. The Wienerberger brick construction, the Athangudi tile flooring, the high ceilings. It felt more like a heritage institution than a school. But beyond the aesthetics, the students who presented their science projects demonstrated genuine understanding, not rote memorization. The school clearly invests in conceptual clarity.

Community Voices

From Our Extended Community

Individuals from the Cuddalore community who have interacted with the school through events, initiatives, or collaborations.

I have watched Aurochild grow for over two decades now. What has remained constant is the involvement of the founding family. Unlike many schools where management is detached, here the founders are present on campus daily. That personal investment shows in everything, from how the grounds are maintained to how teachers are retained year after year. It is rare to see that kind of commitment in private education today.

T. Raghunathan

Retired Headmaster, Government Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore

Our organisation partnered with Aurochild for an environmental awareness programme in 2023. The students did not just participate. They took ownership, organized collection drives, made presentations to younger classes, and followed up weeks later. That level of initiative in school children was impressive. The school clearly fosters responsibility, not just compliance.
